Initially, users will be able to earn from Meta Cricket League in the following ways:

1. Leaderboard Ranking
2. Rentals (Coming soon)
3. Stadium (Coming soon)
4. Kitbox

### **1. Leaderboard Ranking**

Users need to play PvP matches in order to enter the leaderboard.

Every run, 4, 6 and wicket scored by the user in a match will be converted into leaderboard points, regardless of win or loss. The user will get bonus leaderboard points for winning the match.

| Category | Leaderboard Points |
| -------------------- | ------------------ |
| Total Runs | 1 Point each Run |
| 4s | 6 Points |
| 6s | 10 Points |
| Wicket | 15 Points ⁽¹⁾ |
| Victory Bonus | 100 Points ⁽²⁾ |
| DL Victory Bonus ⁽³⁾ | 150 Points ⁽³⁾ |

For example, Alice wins a match by scoring 40 runs, of which there are 12 singles, four 4s, and two 6s. She also managed to take two wickets off her opponent. Hence, the total leaderboard points she receives is:

| Category | Runs/Wickets | Leaderboard Points |
| ------------- | ------------ | ------------------ |
| Total Runs | 40 | 40 |
| 4s | 4 | 24 |
| 6s | 2 | 20 |
| Wicket | 2 ⁽¹⁾ | 30 ⁽¹⁾ |
| Victory Bonus | NA | 100 ⁽²⁾ |
| Total | | 214 |

The user’s final ranking will be based on the total leaderboard points they accumulate by the end of the leaderboard period.

> ***Note:** Leaderboard Points are NOT the same as Jump Trade Points. You get leaderboard points from playing PvP matches and use them to climb and improve your leaderboard ranking.*
>
> *If, by the end of the leaderboard cycle, you are among the top x% of players, you will get Jump Trade Points in proportion to your rank. You can then use your Jump Trade Points to level up NFT, buy NFT, or even convert to USD and withdraw.*
>
> ⁽¹⁾ ***Note:** The Wickets Leaderboard Points have been increased from 7 to 15. This change will be implemented in the game from the second week of October 2022.*
>
> ⁽²⁾ ***Note:** The Victory Bonus Leaderboard Points have been increased from 50 to 100. This change will be implemented in the game from the second week of October 2022.*
>
> ⁽³⁾ ***Note:** The DL Victory Bonus Leaderboard Points will be rewarded to users if their opponents have disconnected from the game. A total of 150 DL Victory Bonus Leaderboard Points will be awarded to the user, along with the user's current match score (includes runs, 4s, 6s, and wickets) or lifetime average match score (includes runs, 4s, 6s, and wickets), whichever is higher. This change will be implemented in the game from the first week of December 2022.*
