For any cricketer, irrespective of the charisma or the aura they carry, stamina is of vital importance. Even the greatest of cricketers cannot carry on with the game if they do not have the required stamina.
In MCL, stamina is attached to the NFT. Every NFT needs to have a minimum stamina level to be eligible to play a game in the MCL.
The stamina level for all players starts at 100. The staminal level drops after every match. The drop in Stamina per match depends on the NFT category, NFT Level and Health element. Stamina also decreases with every injury.
For example,
NFT Category Effect on Stamina: After every match, the Legend NFT stamina drops by 5 points and the Epic NFT stamina drops by 10 points. This means, Legend NFT will be able to play a total of 20 matches while Epic NFT will be able to play 10 matches.
NFT Level Effect on Stamina: There are 2 Legend NFTs, one of level 10 and one of level 15. For the level 10 Legend NFT, stamina drops by 5 points after every match but for the level 15 Legend NFT, stamina drops by 4 points after every. This means, level 10 Legend will be able to play a total 20 matches while level 15 Legend will be able to play 25 matches.
Health Effect on Stamina: There are 2 Rookie NFTs. One has Health element value as 20 and other has Health element value as 80. For the 20 health Rookie NFT, stamina drops by 10 points after every match and for the 80 health Rookie NFT, stamina drops by 5 points after every match. 20 health Rookie NFT can play 10 matches while 80 health Rookie NFT will be able to play 20 matches.
Injury Effect on Stamina: While playing, if you get injured by getting by a ball or if you get injured by falling due to pitch conditions, or if you get injured while trying to avoid a bouncer, it will lead to a deduction in stamina.
The math that goes behind deciding the minimum stamina levels will be revealed when the feature approaches its release date.
Disclaimer: The above explained concept and its data attached are subject to change. However, the process will have only positive impact on MCL and its users.
